January 25th Weekly Announcements
Good evening Red Devil Families, we hope you have enjoyed a restful weekend. We are so excited to be back to a normal schedule and week at N-CHS. We would like to thank our Junior students for their participation in the C.C.R.A. Practice A.C.T. this week. We will begin using the data from the first administration in the Fall, as well as the data received from this administration, to fine-tune student preparation for the actual A.C.T. on February 23rd.
Carolina Photography will be at Newton-Conover High School on Monday, January 25th for A Day and Wednesday, January 27th for B Day to photograph Fall/yearbook absentee pictures. This will be for Seniors and all underclassmen. Remote students may attend either session. We hope to have pictures for all Red Devils completed as our Yearbook staff is working hard on this memory for our students.
On Friday evening, our J.R.O.T.C. air-rifle team competed in Mooresville against 15 teams in Western NC for the Area Six Championship Qualifying Match. Only the top two teams advance to the NC/SC Championship-65 total schools. We are excited to report that our Red Devil squad finished second with some amazing results. We are so proud of you and excited to see what is to come from this team!
We look forward to seeing our Group A students Monday/Tuesday of this week, and our Group B students Wednesday/Thursday. Please let us know if you have any questions, and GO RED DEVILS!
