Thanks to all students and families who made our NCMS Book Fair a huge hit! Students got new books in their hands and our school earned more new books. It's a win for everyone. This year's Book Fair theme was everyone's favorite scary storytelling series, Goosebumps. Students and teachers were involved in daily trivia, searching for clues, and even creating displays for our library. Thanks to Mrs. Lewis for organizing another fun school-wide event behind literacy! Here are Mrs. Duncan's 6th graders creating a scene from their favorite Goosebumps book.

Good evening Red Devil Family! Here are your announcements for the week of October 10-14, 2022. Thank you, parents and students, who participated in our schoolwide Attraction Coupon Book fundraiser! This successful fundraiser for our school will pay for school safety initiatives, PBIS events, and school beautification efforts. NCMS still needs an ELA/SS teacher and a Science teacher. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact the school. Picture orders are in and will be sent home with students this week. Parents, please be on the lookout for them. Parents, we are seeing an increase in students being loud and disruptive on the school bus, creating a safety issue with our drivers. Please talk with your child about appropriate bus behavior. If your child is identified as being loud and disruptive and causing a safety concern, they will be removed from the bus. We are blessed to have some amazing bus drivers who want to keep your child safe, so we must ensure students demonstrate appropriate behavior. In athletic news. Cross Country will travel to Northview Middle School on Monday, October 10 for a meet. Volleyball and Soccer will be home on Tuesday to take on Maiden Middle School. On Wednesday, October 12, the football team will play at Jacobs Fork Middle School. Volleyball and Soccer will be away on Thursday to take on Mill Creek Middle School. That is all for our weekly announcements. Have a great week!
