The FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID opened October 1st. Any senior who is planning to attend a 2 or 4 year college or university needs to complete the FAFSA asap! Go to: FAFSA.ed.gov to set up your account and submit. You will need your parent or legal guardian's financial information. For more information please see your School Counselor.
Students need to also complete their Residency Determination as well if they plan to go to a 2 or 4 year institution. This must be done prior to making college applications. Go to: ncresidency.org to complete your Residency Determination and obtain your certification number for eligibility regarding in-state tuition.
