Good evening Red Devils! We hope you and your families have enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday! We at NCHS are thankful for all of our Red Devils each and every day. As we wind this semester down, here are our announcements for the upcoming week.

National Honor Society will continue to provide the opportunity of tutoring after school every Monday. This is the perfect time to reach out for help. If you need help in any subject area, come to Room 121 to work with a fellow student until 3:30! Small snacks will be provided.

Senior Parents: Show your son or daughter just how proud you are of them for all of their hard work and incredible accomplishments with an ad in the 2024 yearbook. You can add personal photos, special memories, and a unique message to honor and congratulate them in a way they’ll be able to cherish for years to come. Visit the NCHS website and click on the Yearbook & Pictures page for all the information. (Use the link bit.ly/YearbookPictureInfo) Students can also pick up Senior Tribute Ad flyers in Mrs. Smith's room, 214. Orders due Dec 1st.

Fall Sports will have their recognitions on Wednesday, November 29th. This will take place in the gym at 6:00pm. Winter sports are now in season. Please check our Facebook page for schedules and times of upcoming games and matches.

Parents and students, please help us maintain safety during arrival and dismissal. Remember parents, only RIGHT TURNS going into and out of the student pick up line at NCHS. Likewise, please remember that there are no RIGHT TURNS onto 18th Street by Discovery High School. This is a one-way street during arrival and dismissal times.

Looking ahead, parents and students please be aware that our Fall semester exams will begin on Friday, December 15th. Students enrolled in End of Course classes (Math 1, Math 3, Biology, and English 2) will be taking mandatory exams. Students enrolled in specific Career and Technical Education Courses will also have mandatory exams. Likewise, students who do not meet exam exemption in their other classes will be subject to mandatory exams as well. Please have your student check in their teacher to see which exams they will need to take. Exams will end on December 21st, which is a half day for students.

We hope you have a great evening and look forward to another great week at NCHS. And as always, GO RED DEVILS!
